This Privacy Policy outlines the information collection, use, and disclosure practices of Alcometer („the App”), which is distributed through the Google Play Store by fazimi. By using the App, you agree to the terms and practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope and nature of processed data (Health Data)
The App is used to track alcohol consumption and therefore processes information that may be considered health data (“Health Data”) under Google Play policies.
The App only collects data that you enter manually, in particular:
- information about alcohol consumption (for example, date, type of drink, amount),
- any additional parameters related to consumption that you decide to enter.
The App does not collect any data that directly identifies you (such as name, surname, email address) and does not access other device data sources (such as location, contacts, microphone).
2. Purpose of data use
Your alcohol consumption data is used only to:
- display statistics about your alcohol consumption (for example, daily, weekly, monthly views),
- help you monitor your alcohol‑related habits.
The data is not used for profiling, advertising, or any other purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the App.
3. Data storage location and sharing
All user data, including alcohol consumption data, is stored only locally on your device.
The data is not automatically transmitted to any external servers and is not shared with third parties.
The App does not use external analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs to collect your data.
4. Data retention
Data is stored on your device for as long as the App remains installed or until you delete the data yourself.
When you uninstall the App, local data stored by the App may be removed as part of the uninstallation process in accordance with your operating system behavior.
5. Data deletion
You can delete all alcohol consumption data stored in the App at any time by selecting the “Remove data” option in the App settings.
Using the “Remove data” option permanently deletes the stored data from your device.
You can also remove data by uninstalling the App from your device, which deletes local App data according to the Android system mechanisms.
Since the App does not store any data on external servers or in the cloud, there is no need to submit a separate deletion request for server‑side data.
6. Data security
The App stores data locally using storage mechanisms provided by the Android operating system.
You are responsible for securing your device (for example, PIN, password, screen lock) to prevent unauthorized access to the App and the data stored in it.
7. Ads and analytics
The App is free of charge and does not contain third‑party advertisements.
The App does not use external analytics tools to track your activity.
8. Intended users
The App is not intended for use by individuals under 17 years of age.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be made available with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after any changes means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
10. No Guarantees
The App is delivered „as is,” without any guarantees or warranties, either expressed or implied. Users use the App at their own risk. The developer of the App assumes no responsibility for any issues that may arise from its use.
